There's a minigame in Mario Party 3 which references Tick Tock Clock and it's pretty awesome except you've never played that either. You and the dude you're dueling stand on the hour hand and that gnarly old minute hand swings around and you have to jump over it. And then the hour hand starts moving too and then the directions change and it is in-tense.

On the note of Mario Parties, I am intrigued by the complete lack of a Mario Party 2008. Usually they are a yearly strife, like paying taxes. This either means that they are quietly putting a once-great series to rest (good), or that they are taking the time to actually develop a decent game instead of just tossing out another cash cow installment (great). Alternately, it could just be another side effect of Nintendo completely forgetting that they were supposed to release games for Q42008, and once they remember to throw out Mario Party 9 it'll be as disappointing as ever.
