I've always had this bizarre fascination with factories and broken down industrial sites. Stretching over five miles along the river, the abandoned Bethlehem Steel factory was once a symbol of the country's industrial strength and employed hundreds of thousands of workers.
It's to be torn down soon to make way for a casino, and seeing as how it's been one of my life's goals to sneak inside the grounds and photograph this place, I guess I better hurry up. |
