I love how snow lights up the sky at night, and the lights from the city give everything this warm glow.

I've always been fascinated by the strange lighting snow gives out at night. It sort of gives a surreal effect.

I did like 50 other angles and compositions, with all sorts of exposures, double exposures, and all that. And I liked this one the best, it was one of the first ones and pretty straightforward.

Those fifty takes must've been worth it! I generally turn my nose up at photography, but there was just something purdy about this pic. So if you can get somebody to like something in a medium they usually don't care for, then you're probably doing something right!
